Save Energy & Money
There are two powerful reasons why we should all think about energy conservation — both environmental and financial. Home insulation is one of the single biggest (and easiest!) things you can do to your home to reduce your carbon footprint and help stop climate change — that’s not the only benefit though, because insulating our homes also means our energy bills will be reduced — and in a world of rising energy prices — that can only be a good thing!
Save up to £300 per year on your heating bills
Did you know that insulating your home can help you save upto 1/3 on your heating bills? To an average household — that could mean a saving of £300 per year. Why? Because around 50% of the heat lost in our homes is through the walls and loft. By insulating our homes we would significantly reduce the wasted heat lost through our walls and loft — resulting in a lower demand for energy to heat our homes — therefore reducing our heating bills!
Find out more about saving money with cavity wall insulation
If everyone in the UK installed loft insulation up to 270mm thickness the equivalent financial saving would pay the heating bills of over 950,000 families for a year. Also, if everyone that could installed Cavity Wall Insulation we could cut Carbon Dioxide emissions by a huge 7 million tones. That would be enough to fill nearly 40 million double deckers or fill the new Wembley Stadium 900 times.

What is my Carbon Footprint?
Over 40% of the CO² emissions in the UK directly come from what individuals do, for example using electricity in the home and driving cars. This means we have an enormous capacity to make a difference. If everyone in the UK had 270mm loft and cavity wall insulations installed we could cut CO² emissions by 10.8 million tonnes which could fill Wembley stadium 1,300 times! The great thing about reducing your Carbon Footprint is that simple changes make big differences to Carbon Emissions, little or no difference to your lifestyle and SAVE YOU MONEY!
Energy Efficiency Tips
As well as insulating your home, there are many other things you can do to become more energy efficient. We have compiled a short list of simple things you can do to help save energy.
