Google maps climate change
A new feature has been launched by Google Earth in conjunction with the Met Office.
The map shows the impacts of a four degrees Celsius increase in temperature around the world.
In addition to the map, the computing giant has featured reports from British scientists explaining the latest research concerning the climate change shown by the technology.
Foreign Office minister Henry Bellingham commented: "The threat from climate change has not gone away and this government is committed to doing what it can to take action.
"This Google Earth map supports that commitment to tackling climate change and will hopefully communicate with a bigger audience globally about why the UK government is being active in championing the transition to a low-carbon economy."
An ambitious global deal, the Copenhagen Accord, has been formed by the UK government and other countries to establish a commitment to tackle climate change.
The agreement pledges to limit average global temperature increases to two degrees Celsius.
